If you would like to run to see weight loss results you should pay attention to heart rate training. You can use your actually heart rate to keep track and determine if you’re running at an correct pace to help you lose weight.  You can calculate your heart rate by counting how many beats in your wrist or neck for 15 seconds than times the number of beats by 4.

To produce weight loss and fitness endurance your heart rate during exercise should be between 60% and 85% for your maximum heart rate.  You should also use an effort level scale to produce weight loss while running. Ranging from level 1 should be slow and through to 10, 10 should be sprinting and maximum speed.  When running you should start off with a slow-warm up then jog to a level 4 or 5. Mix it up each day alternating and changing levels.  To see results you will have to stay motivated. You should also remember just because you have started running this doesn’t mean you can eat more.

To burn calories affectively daily you must burn more calories than you are in taking so keep that in mind while continuing with your running regimen.
